Pairing WOM20 with Computer

My computer already has bluetooth, so I don't want to plug in the little USB thingy. Is there a way to put the DX-WOM20 into discover mode so I can pair it with my computer bluetooth? Thanks, Steve

Re: Pairing WOM20 with Computer

I think you may be getting wireless confused with bluetooth. Your mouse is wireless and it needs the wireless sender unit connected to a usb port, but this is not bluetooth, it picks up the wireless signal from the sender to work. You will also need to install any software that you got with the mouse (if any), as you will need to set up the button and click functions, unless it just uses the normal pointing device driver in windows.

Why wont my Dynex DX-PMSE mouse not work? I plug it in and then the laser blinks and then turns off.

if you're on a laptop make sure you enable the "Disable touchpad when external pointing device available" option in your touchpad utility. I think the touchpad interferes with the dx-pmse. Should fix the problem, if on a desktop make sure you remove all pointing device from device manager and then plug in ur dx pmse

Will not move pointer

Power down your computer, plug in original mouse, boot up. After computer boots, unplug original, and plug in your current mouse. If this does not help, call geek squad!

Inability To Activate MOGO

I solved the problem by upgrading the Bluesoleil software I was supplied with (Bluetooth) to the most recent version (at the modest cost of 19 Euros). After I did that, the proper menus came up to search for the mouse device and a connection was established! Of course, the user manual was no help.

Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and click on Sound.
Next click Bluetooth Devices.
Click Add button, lower left corner of the Bluetooth Devices window.
Insure batteries are installed.
Press the Connect Button on the Keyboard (Usually located on the under side of your keyboard) this allows Windows to see the keyboard so you can pair the keyboard to the computer.
On the computer choose My Device Is Set Up and Ready To Be Found.
Click NEXT.
The keyboard should appear in the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard Window.
Select your Keyboard and click Next.
When prompted, select Choose a Passkey For Me and click Next.
Windows will generate and display a Passkey.
Type the Passkey specified on the Bluetooth Keyboard
(do not use the keyboards keypad when typing the passkey)
No charters will appear on the monitor when typed, but if you make a mistake, you can backspace.
You must enter the Passkey within 30 seconds.
If you don’t enter the Passkey within 30 seconds, click Back and click Next again.
Once the Passkey is entered, the Keyboard should be connected to the computer.
Finish and follow any on screen instructiond.

Hope this helps. Bud

Dynex mouse for notebooks

This mouse is USB and not bluetooth. It will not work with the bluetooth wireless standard. It will only work with USB and RF. So, re-insert the base unit to the USB jack and press the button on the base, then press the button on the mouse, and it should work again.

Flashing USB

The flashing light on the adapter that is plugged into the USB port is normal operation of this mouse. In order to hide the light, I put electrical tape over it. There is no way to turn it off, as the flashing light is an indication that it is receiving a signal from the mouse.

Mouse trouble

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.
