Need unlock code for old [1990]ford laser

Ford may have code based on vin number ask the dealership. There was a similar question not long ago here. search radio code you may come across the solution.

go to dealer radio code is part of anti-theft system -besides the info you have will need to show proof of ownership for vehicle [title--registration ] and id most dealers give the code for free than use your manual to reset radio [[dealers usually charge if you have them do the reset]]

I would take proof of ownership to a ford dealer and inquire at the service desk. they can steer you in the right direction.

Ford Code Entry Instructions

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the third digit

To save the code press the [ 5 ] key to accept.

The set should now operate

change the main power cable from the battery to the stater or the solenoid

Chilton publishes useful manuals for foreign cars. When I was running Mercedes diesels I relied on them. Haynes makes another useful manual for the MB. Haynes and Chilton can be reached at  Sparkford Near Yovil, Somerset BA22 7JJ England.

take your radio out and it should have a couple of numbers on the back.
The serial number and manufacturer number.
There should also be the original code for the radio which was set into the radio itself when it left the manufacturers.
