You should have a button or setting on the remote that says "picture size" or "aspect". One of those is set too "zoom" mode which will cut off the bottom and top of the frames. You want it to be in 16:9,Normal or Full mode (or whatever your set call it) to get the correct aspect. Or if you have a HD satellite rcvr. you might of placed it in the zoom mode as well.

Why cant I get it off of wide screen? Everyone's head are cut off and can not read subtitles at bottom.

the aspect ratio is the picture size control
when you select aspect ratio you have to move with the arrows to get the size that fits the panel the best - go ok then exit to save the setting
if that doesn't work the the tv will need attention in a repair shop

What you describe is known as a convergence board problem. Its a fairly common problem. You can read more about it herein this Fixya Tip.

Picture seems to big for TV.cant read bottom words on screen and words are cut off on side also. Cant see scrores on any sports or read peoples names on bottom of the screen

Using the menu or settings button on your remote, access the TV's menu and find the area for picture settings and zoom. You're likely set to a zoom mode, so cycle through the options until you find the zoom setting that sizes to your TV best. (On most widescreens, the best picture is often on the setting 'panarama.'

My Hisense TLM3233D 32 in flat screen suddenly has started cutting off the heads of people and i cant read the writing at the bottom of the screen. I have done a factory reset through the menu and tried...

I use a digital satellite television decoder and the aspect ratio on the decoder was set incorrectly. After speaking to the DSTV helpdesk they assisted to set the aspect ratio to the correct setting.

It sounds like you have inadvertently changed the screen size setting. This is usually in the "set-up" section when you select "menu" on your remote. It may also be labeled as "zoom" or "view mode".

The picture on my tv is too big

Take the remote for the TV...not the cable.
They usually have a RESET button.  Go through setting the TV back to factory settings.  This usually corrects this problem.
It did for us today!  john

JVC AV-32F704 32" TV Picture is blurry - cannot read any writing on the screen

You didn't mention if you saw fine white diagonal lines running through the screen from top to bottom. If so, you likely have a shorted Picture Tube which is not usually fixable. If there are no lines seen running through the screen, then it is possible the High voltage transformer which also has a screen voltage and focus control built in that could be bad. I would expect the cost of that part to be about $100, so the repair cost total could approach that of a new set I would guess.
