I have a Viewsonic TPCV1100 that I had to essentially recreate after a hard disk upgrade. Most of the things work properly except that the pen cursor moves in 180 degree opposition to it's placement on the screen, when the screen is rotated right (270 degrees): I go right, it goes left; I go up, it goes down. Unfortunately, Da Vinci I ain't. This mirror writing just doesn't work for me. Incidentally, the track point and Synaptic touch pad work properly. Is there some sort of registry, mouse, graphics driver (Intel Extreme) or tablet (Wacom) tweak I need to do? The Graphics driver was downloaded from Viewsonic. The tablet driver was downloaded from Wacom. Tablet pen calibration does not work (no cursor) My Mouse settings show 4 HID devices (one of which is the pen), but no controls to rectify the pen movement The Intel Extreme control Panel only offers rotations for the screen.
Is it maybe possible it is a hardware prob? maybe the directional sensor in the tablet was displadced. BTW i have the same tablet and need an harddrive replacement/upgrade, how did you manage to do that? what kind of drive and where to buy? Viewsonic seems not so eager to help me out with that. Best, Fredrik
