Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
Had what sounds like a similar issue. Could hear the sound and see the picture on the outside edges of a black box that took up most of the screen. T.V. was still under warranty and they said that they could not fix it, just replaced it. however, 3 months later my 27in won't turn on and keeps cycling through even after I have unplugged it. Good luck!

I have a Insignia 42inch Plasma TV and i bought it last year Dec 2006 and have the same problem tried to unplug and nothing happened so i called the tech for them to come see, they will be here tomorrow during the day and will keep you updated on what happened. My friend told me that he had the same issue and after the tech changed the video chip they never again had the problem with it, so what i think is Insignia should take a look into changing the chip completly and that will make this a best value Plasma TV in the market, but once again thats my own opinion but as i said earlier i will keep you updated by tomorrow or the day after. if anyone want to know more then dont hesitate to contact me. email@example.com

On a LCD TV either the lamps might not be coming on or there is a video problem. If unplugging it for 30 seconds then trying again doesn't bring it back then expert help is needed.
