Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1: Windows
I bought HP lap top and have a lisence lable for Vista premium. But i think by mistake vista home was installed insteed of vista premium as i am asked to enter product key for vista home. So no MSoffice program works (I mean a program opens but i can do no print, no change.
Please, could you send me product key for Vist home and stiudent 2007
I think the problem is that the trial edition of MS Office Home and Student edition will work for 60 days without a license number being input, after which time it stops. There are online offers for the software that should pop up when the license is about to expire. It sounds like you may have put an improper license number in (i.e. your Vista Home Premium license which won't work) and I'm not sure if it will still give you the rest of your trial period. If you haven't used MS Office on that machine for 60 days, contact HP support which may be able (at no charge) to back you out of the problem.
If you own a licensed copy of MS Office for another machine you can use that copy on a second computer for free; if it's a different edition you will have to install with your install discs. Uninstall the existing one first to possibly save some space.
HINT: If you need a different edition than the Home and Student Edition, you can usually purchase an UPGRADE rather than full retail copy, because your HP machine likely has a copy of MS Works which allows an UPGRADE to any version of Office! Be sure to check that you meet the requirements before buying, though...

I am sorry but you have to purchase the MS off ice package from microsoft. Your product key you are refering to is for the Windows program only. We cannot provide you with a key as it is considered software piracy.

I have experience with this as i work for comet tech support.
when you purchase a pc with vista, it will have a trial version of microsoft office. this is what you have.
you need to purchase home and stiudent 2007, the product key label is for WINDOWS, NOT OFFICE.
