Question about Apache Colco Ah 64 Longbow R/C Helicopter

Gyro LED will not stop flashing

After I connect the battery to the flying unit, i here a mechanical whir for 1/8th of a second, then the GYRO LED flashes, and never becomes a solid light to allow it to fly. I have been trying for awhile to get it working, trying various startup methods, but the light never becomes a solid light. Is there anything I can do?

I had the same problem. The problem eventually turned out to be a bad connection to the antenna inside the controller. That was one of my first checks trying to trouble shoot it and it seemed tight. I got some replacement parts, changed the receiver but that wasn't the problem, I changed the antenna and it started to go intermittent. I put the old antenna back on and the connection inside finally had worked loose. So I tightened it back up and it has worked perfect ever since with original parts. So I suggest you completely loosen the antenna connection then tighten it back up again and try that.

My new MJX F645 won't fly

Hi,

Does it power up and the main rotors spin? If you have no power it could be a faulty battery.

Kind regards, Julian

Syma S032 Transmitter battery lights blinks even when Brand new Alkaine Batteries are fitted

0) Obviously, helicopter will operate best when fully charged... if charging light gets brighter when unplugged from helicopter, then it's not at full charge. Charge fully, then allow battery to cool for 10 minutes. Good batteries in remote also.
1) Power on helicopter.
2) Place on level surface and let gyroscopes sync. There is a red light inside the body (NOT the red/blue flasher in the nose) that will blink when you turn helicopter on, and will keep blinking until craft is level and stable for a few seconds, then will stop blinking.
3) Make sure left joystick is all the way down.
4) Power on remote.
5) Throttle up (left joystick) until blades move and then all the way back down.
This should get you flying. Let me know

My helicopter (SO32 Gyro) having previously worked perfectly now will only hover. I have tried recharging it but it makes no difference. I wonder if I have overcharged the battery and if it is possible to...

Batteries are available online (amazon and many others) and change easily with only small screwdriver. Overcharging is not the issue. Nearly impossible with PCB (overcharge prevention circuit) hard wired into battery AND in charger. Problem is likely UNDERcharging, overDIScharging, or improper battery care. Battery MUST be allowed to cool 10 minutes after flying. Charge until light on charger doesn't get any brighter when helicopter is unplugged... light comes on (dim at first) well before full charge. 10 minute cool-down after charge also a MUST. And, most important, when flying, as soon as you are unable to maintain altitude, land helicopter and power it off. Li/Po batteries should never be fully drained. Even one full discharge can cripple or ruin entirely your helicopter's battery.

hope this helps.. let me know,

I need to buy parts for a Gyro 3.5 Channel Helicopter NO. S032

Replacement parts available on amazon and several other online retailers. Manufacturer is in China and Taiwan, and are very hard to deal with, and in best case scenario you'll still wait weeks for your parts from Asia. I recommend Amazon. Quick shipping, great prices and easy returns.

Hope this helps,

couple of things possible. 1) change outlet. 2) call customer service for the helicopter (should be on manual in contact section) 3) the helicopter has a loose cable connected to the battery inside the helicopter so you probably need to sodder it.

Just got the syma s032 gyro charged it to full and it wont fly for more than 20 seconds

So your only getting 20 seconds of flight time when your charging for a full cycle?

I purchased the Syma Chanook and it had the same problem , If you keep running into this problem using the remote control charger than I suggest to aquire a new charger . One that is a plug in the wall . I really dont like to rely on the usb chargers they just dont work as well. If not you still have a 30 day moneyback warranty and I would make them replace the battery or better yet the whole unit if the second charger doesn't work!
