No water my Kenmore elite #596.76523500 will no edispense water. Any idea what theproblem is?

Well turn the water off of course and then check the electro water valve it may be not sealing.

If you are going to clean out the strainer compartment down below, the best way to avoid a mess is to shop vac out the water through the drain hose before you start. At that point there should be almost no water in the machine. (Also a good idea if you are moving the machine. And remember to reinstall the four shipping bolts in the back that were there when you first got the machine).

Check for cracks in the water supply tube from the house plumbing valve to the ice maker. Could also be the valve itself.

Turn off valve for a day to diagnose which.

sounds like you have lost your sump
take off the back of the machine
watch the bottom of the tub and turn on the water
you will get a much beeter idea of where its comming from

i think the dl code is clogged water pump,tip it back and you can remove the water pump cover and check it-mike

your motor is bad.

could be spash over be sure washer is as level as possible

i assume that the warer is turn on at the warer valves if so then do you have voltage at the water valve if not then water pressure switch could be bad or main control board could be bad
