Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 Notebook
Hey, I bought a Toshiba Sattelite L300 PSLB0E and I figured that I wanted Linux on it, so I reinstalled but after a few months I wanted Windows Vista on it again. Unfortunally when I bought it I didn't get either the operating system or a cd with the drivers. So I went online and downloaded all the drivers that were suppoused to work on that specific laptop but of course something had to go wrong and now the laptop doesn't seem to find the wireless card even though I installed the correct driver for it downloaded from the Toshiba website. What can I do to fix this?
You have to install the correct Vista driver for the 'type' of card you are using. It could be an Intel, Atheros, Realtek etc
Have a look here:
You could download Belarc Advisor, which will tell you a lot about your computer and the hardware that it is using, including your wireless card type. Download and install the appropriate driver from that site and install it and reboot.
Hope this helps:)
