Re: i need help

The manual says 256M max. Maybe you can't use the 512M.

Re: i need help

You can download the Toshiba SD memory utilities from here; Just filter the results with "SD" and you will find several different downloads for either xp or vista. This will do the same as the Sigma Tel program, which appears to be unavailable online. Hope this helps - please ask again if you still have trouble :)

Micro sd 4gb card problems.

Check the Sansa tutorials at
to make sure you have followed all the steps first.

In my experience, every mp3 player/photo frame/etc with a card reader has a MAXIMUM memory limit for the type of card that it can read. It is possible that the Sansa player can only read 2GB Micro SD cards or smaller - and thisi nformation may not have been available when they printed the manual. If you have followed all instructions, and it still will not read the card, try switching to a 2GB Micro SD card.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.
