Can you get it to work on windows 7 64bit

See http://www.dvdxcopy.com/ for software that is supported. It says it supports Vista 64 but does not explicitly say Win7 64b. It probably does.

How to Install any Driver/Software which isn't Supported by Windows Vista/7

Hello!!

There are lots of old Soft-wares and Drivers available which are not compatible with Higher Version of Windwos.

So some Windows XP exclusive setups can be installed under Windows Vista/7 As Under.

1. Try to install the drivers in compatibility mode.
2. For that right click on setup.
3. Go to properties.
4. Go to compatibility Tab.
5. Set it to win xp sp2.
6. Hit ok
7. Run setup as administrator
8. Ignore any error and hit continue anyway during installation
9. Restart pc

If the above trick doesn't work, then use the device in VIRTUAL XP MACHINE
You can use XP MODE or VMWARE or any other Virtal Machine Application.

Hope it Helps..!!

Virtual PC will not open

If you have Windows 7, 'native' Virtual PC will only be available and functional, regardless of the icon on task bar, if you have: 1) Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate 2) Hardware Virtualization 3) Your PC/Laptop BIOS has support for hardware Virtualization and you have enabled it. If you have all the above pre-requesite, I suggest that you re-download XP Mode and VPC from Microsoft site. If you do not meet the above requirements, you can always install a (free) alternate such as Microsoft VPC 2007 SP1 or better still (e.g. has USB support) VirtualBox. Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

Will virtual pc for mac v7 work with powerbook g4 running 10.4.11

Sorry, but the G4 and G5 desktops have chipsets released prior to the Intel agreement allowing pc's with CoreDuo and Macs with DualCore chips to exchange data, even though Virtual PC for G3 through G5 chipsets did work in running MS OS's prior to Vista, including XP, on mac platforms.

Now, if this helps, you might be able to secure an older version of Virtual PC, since your version works on current Macs and PCs with Vista, to run XP on your G4 and G5.

I have installed virtual pc in windows vista. in virtual pc i ave installed windows xp. in virtual pc my usb ports are not working

Virtual PC for Windows does not support USB devices (other than a mouse and keyboard ... which are not actually emulated via USB, but are simply "used" through the host) ... but just to confirm the "official" statement of this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824511/en-us

Unfortunately, Microsoft did NOT add USB support in Virtual PC 2007 (a widely anticipated addition that simply didn't happen).

VMWare Server DOES support USB devices (through the host) with some exceptions. From the documentation: "... Modems and certain streaming data devices, such as speakers and Web cams, do not work properly." You may want to read the details of using USB devices with a VMWare virtual machine starting on page 232 here: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/server_vm_manual.pdf

You can download Virtual Server for free here (You'll need to register and request a free key ... a painless process): http://www.vmware.com/download/server/
