Unable to send message in my nokia N71.. how to fix this??

Please try by restoring your factory. Menu>Setting>Restore factory setting. or press this code *#7780# and if you want to format it than try this code *#7370#
else please check your message center number from your friend or family that they are using the same service(s) like vodafone, aircel, bsnl, airtel. from there check their message centre number whether it's the same number or not that's in your cell-phone. If it's not same than correct it and try.

Thanks for using FixYa

Tip

How to make your nokia phones work smooth and fast and keep it maintained.

The usage of the phone memoy in nokia phones is the main reason for slow functioning and hanging. So always keep 80% of the internal memory free or smooth functioning of the phone. For data one can use a memory card.
If the phone memory is mostly used or full transfer the files or delete it.
the only problem for freeing space in symbian phones is it needs to be formatted because it has many hidden files of the installed applications in the phone memory. So you can format the phone by dialling *# 7370 # or by pressing the Switch on + * + 3 + call button when the phone is off.

Phone memory protected

Under Menu>Contacts>Settings.... Under memory in use, change it to phone and SIM. It will probably ask for a security code which should be in your book, if you haven't changed it, its something like 0000 or 12345 or similar. then you should be able to copy all to the simcard.

Nokia n95 Phone memory full

Hi there:

For months I've been searching on the Internet looking for a solution to my problem for my Nokia N95

It kept on saying that my phone memory was low and every time i deleted stuff (Including apps) the memory kept on eating away at its self with none of the memory that was there nowehere to be seen.

Save all your contacts and stuff you cherish on ur phone memory before u do this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the factory reset ( *#7370# ) and the software reset ( *#7780# ) entered the code "12345" after each one and they both reset.... entered my country, date, time etc.... but it never sorted out my memory problems

Another reset is the 3 button reset... this worked on my phone and thank F**k it has :-)

what you do is switch off your n95 turn it back on but keep ur fingers pressed on the:

The star button ( * )
The number three button ( 3 )
And the Green button ( one you start to make phone call with )

did the same with the country date time and brill 140 Mb's free memory yee haaaaaaaaa
