SOURCE: What do I need to buy in addition to my Alpine

1. You will need a stereo fit kit made for your specific jeep(usually can be bought at Wal-mart, or your local parts store.
2. It makes for a lot easier install if you get the wireing harness made to plug your factory jeep radio plugs into and on the other end will be the open wires used to wire to your stereo wiring harness.
3. And, Some Factory antenna wires require an antenna adapter that you plug the factory antenna into one end of and the other end gets plugged into the radio.

Setting the clock on an Alpine CDE-9872 or CDE-9874

From the Owners Manual for the CDE-9872 / CDE-9874:

FixYa won't allow images larger than 150k, so that's why this is a little blurry.
I hope this helps!

Have to set set clock

if you go to this website

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Alpine-CDE-9872-Car-Receivers-manual/id/13483ci760/t/2/

you can download the manual for your radio and it tells you how to do everything that you can do with your radio. If this helps please rate this as a FIXYA.

I am getting a DC error on my alpine cde-102 head

Hello christo12385,

The DC error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON.

Hope this helps.

Help! cant get speakers to respond

Have you set the Power IC to Off? Here is a link to the User Manual: http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/index.php?id=915&L=&manualsearch=CDE-9850Ri

Press Menu to select Setup, then Mode, then Rewd or Ffwd to move Left or Right to Power IC, then use the volume control to select Power IC On.
Hope this works
