Fan motor could have gone bad, spark unit(little black box in handle) could be bad. one of the three top conections could be loose, or hooked up wrong, battery contacts on end of circuit board assembly could be placed a little off( battery not making contact with circuit mold assembly) pinched one of the wires going to the trigger area, or fan area

by service im assuming you mean replacing the o-ring and seals/gaskets. If not do that. But if you have it may be more of an internal problem with the air valve leaking around the piston.

Check to make sure that the chamber is free of debris because the piston can get stuck if it is dirty it probably just needs to be cleaned and then lubricated really well and the problem should stop. Other outcome is the worse it could also be that the piston is bent and it gets hung up on itself then it would have to either be sent in for repair or to take it to a repair shop.

Hope this works

SOURCE: IM250 Paslode straight brad nailer, fan wont shut off

My paselode was doing the same thing, and I followed all of the cleaning instructions, but the problem continued.

If it was left alone for a minute, it would fire again, so I removed the cover over the trigger assy, and checked the spark plug wire connection. The trigger came out, and during reassembly, I noticed that the electrical switch was hanging, and slowly pushing back out.

I cleaned and lightly spray/oiled the switch pin, and voila.........works like a charm.

SOURCE: paslode im350 will only now wrk properly when on a flat surface

Make sure the nails are inserted so that the follower maintains pressure on the strip of nails. Also, your pressure on the whole gun at an angle is probably not as great as on the flat---could lead to misfiring

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

Fan dose not work on my paslode im350 nail gun had new circuit board

There is a head switch located in the handle on the circuit board - with the tool disassembled carefully (and making sure the fan motor and blade are clear) insert a battery and press the head switch to test - often the small metal roller arm that actuates the switch (part #27 on the diagram) gets bent or out of place.
If you have a new circuit board, green flashing light, and manually pushed the head switch - my guess is you have a bad fan motor.
This will typically cause the light to flash red or alternate red/green https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjp3JyUs7beAhVmm-AKHXw0DpUQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsupafixings.com%2Fproduct%2Fim350-parts-drawing%2F&psig=AOvVaw1zkn-GVHZiL6fr1Tuo10i1&ust=1541271770860917

Paslode 350 tell no light

If you have no light at all in the handle and you're sure you have a charged battery, then I would look at the battery contacts - that tool has the contacts molded into a circuit board assembly so if it is not obvious I would take it to a repair center to be diagnosed.

Paslode im350 has indicator light flashing red/green

The nailer’s electrical system has gone into overload protection. There may be something wrong with the fan motor or the wires going to the fan motor. Remove the cap and grill to inspect the red and black fan motor wires. If the wires are pinched or broken, that may be the problem. It may also help to disconnect the small white connector on the wire assembly that goes to the motor and then reconnect it.
