Question about Televison & Video
SONY BRAVIA KDL-40W4500 has a network connector to access LAN. It complains DLNA protocol.
The problem is that I have a SAMBA server in a linux and I cannot connect to BRAVIA, they are full incompatible.
Could BRAVIA be connected to samba server somehow? Can be changed SONY firmware in order to get this capacity?
This can indicate a problem with the high voltage circuits. Since this is a new set, it should still be under warranty. DO NOT open up the unit as that will void the warranty. Return the set or request warranty service. Note the 8 blinks when you request service as that should allow them to bring the correct replacement parts.
