recently i bought JVC GR-D870 digital camera, not able to transfer data from Min Div tape to PC.
I tried using USB post, but PC is not recognizing. Can any one suggest how to transfer?
You can't transfer video using the included USC cable. You need to use a firewire cable connected to the DV port located behind the lcd screen. You must also have a firewire card installed in your computer. These can very inexpensive to purchase. I purchased mine, along with the included cable for like $14.00 incld shipping.
If you decide to purchase locally, make sure the DV end of the cable is 4 pin. The end that connects to the card probably wants to be 6 pin.

Can this unit (GR-D77OU) play back in SLOW MOTION? The manuel says nothing of this and I can't seem to figure it out? I keep hitting play pause really fast but am not able to stop exactly were I want. I am playing back baseball players swinging the bat to analyze their swings... if it doesn't have a slow motion feature, would downloading to a computer allow me to play in slow motion? Thanks

I have a GR-D200 with original software, and drivers. I also have windows Vista. After hours of trying to get Vista to recognize the camcorder connected via USB, i was able to make it work, somewhat. Movie maker still doesnt recognize it, nor do a bunch of other media players, but some "muvee" program provided by hp does. The problem is, the quality from the camera is horrible. Its grainy, pixelated, and the sound is awful. The quality was great in xp, but all i've got is vista now. I need a program that will do it better than muvee, because muvee only lets sound record through 25% of the time, which is annoying. Its the only program i've found that will recognize the camera, so i dont have a choice. More importantly, I need a way to fix the horrible quality, which im assuming is just the driver on vista? Is there nothing I can do to make it better? Oh, and I also tried the included program by PIXELA, but that is also for vista, and will not go to the capture screen (doesnt do anything when I click the option) help?
