I am re-installing my canon ip5200r printer...

I accendintally removed my printer from the control panel and now i need to reinstall it ...
I uninstalled all canon files.
Now when my disk is 66% of the way done it stops.
Should my printer be plugged in at this time or not (usb) and power?

It sounds like it just froze up. Try and do the install again, it should tell you when you need to plug your printer in and give it power.

I can try and give you a more simple thing to do then installing with the cd if it continues not to work but i will need what version of windows you are using such as vista or xp.

Click select OS and then select your version of windows then install what pops up under drivers. This is your backup if the cd doesn't work

My laptop has CanonMP610 installed but when I click on print, I get a message that the printer is not responding. The printer cable is plugged into the computer and the printer works on another laptop.

  1. Unplug the Canon MP610.
  2. Click on the Start Menu, then Control Panel. Open the Printers, or Devices and Printers control panel. Find your Canon MP610 printer and Delete or Remove the device by Right Clicking on the device and selecting Delete or Remove.
  3. Restart the PC.
  4. When in Windows, plug your Canon MP610 in and wait for device installation to complete, or reinstall the CD drivers.
  5. Try printing a test page.

I have a Printer Canon PIXMA MX310 and I lost my installation CD, DRIVERS and the interface for the Scanner...PLEASE HELP...

You can download the manuals and software from Canon.
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=334&modelid=15603

Once you download the software, you should be able to reinstall the software. Remove the previously installed driver (In Windows, Start > Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs (or Uninstall Programs) depenind in the OS.)

I hope this helps.

Keep receiving a message that says print spooler is closed and cannot install printer driver

Remove your printer software using Canon removal tool or delete it by going to the Control Panel/printers.

Reinstall the drivers for your printer. You might want to visit www.Canon.com/support to see if there is a newer version available for your printer/OS combo.

I can't see my Canon iP5200R in windows 7 as a wireless printer... I can only use it with USB the conection

There may not be a solution for this as yet because Windows 7 has not been released to the public yet.

The latest release was the RTM which was issued to manufacturers to bring their drivers up to date with it.

It's the Black Stripe thing When you begin a printing job a 1/2" wide streak of black ink is on the back side of each pieceof paper Canon iP5200R

You need a new ink absorber kit with a guard sheet to stop ink from coming up from the bottom and getting on the exit rollers. It's a major job to remove the print engine and a messy one. Best done in repair shop..
