My mother in law never purchased from ebay before,
The item #N680.350135212864 was purchased, it should have been new. When got it at Christmas in the box it came it, there were no cords to plug it in, no instruction manual and it was all scratched on the front. It was used. My mother in law is really upset. I want to contact this seller and get either another NEW item with all the proper attachments, or return the money $74.95 to her. Help!!

Notify the seller about the broken items. Between you and the seller you'll need to determine if the items were broken by the shipper. If so, the seller will file a claim for the broken items. It's up to the seller whether he refunds you prior to the claim being approved. I usually refund as soon as possible. If the seller is unresponsive and/or he did not purchase shipping insurance then you'll nee to file a claim with eBay's New Buyer Assurance. Good luck
you need to purchase the item on eBay using your eBay account. the item should register in your eBay account as a Won item. there should be an item number which is a 12 digit number. DO NOT purchase the item on craigslist or any other website. eBay do not have collection agents and do not have warehouses. if the seller will mention one, then it is a scam. the item/vehicle will only be covered by the VPP or vehicle protection program if the item was bought using your eBay account, eBay do not send invoices to buyers outside eBay messages, everything should be in the eBay inbox. if there is no item in your eBay account, please DO NOT pay the item. It is a scam.
if the item is not as described, you can file for the significantly not as described dispute and you will be given a shipping label to ship back the item to the seller hence you will get refund for the item that you purchased.
with regard to this, it's either the seller closed his/her account or the seller violated some eBay policy that's why the item was removed. if you already paid this item, i suggest that you need to contact eBay and file for the item not receive dispute so that you can get your moneyback.
there are no SAFE ACCOUNTS ON eBay. You need to purchase the item using your eBay account so that you can be eligible of the vehicle protection program. there are also no eBay agent who collects the payment and there is also NO eBay WAREHOUSE. if these are visible to the deal that you are getting with the seller, i suggest that you need to report this seller by sending all the emails you from this seller to email@example.com and DO NOT CONTINUE THE TRANSACTION. always ask for the eBay user id and the 12 digit item number if you will purchase an item on eBay.
