Ya, and all the hills make it 10x worse. i'm from pittsburgh. it all depends on how much you want to spend. but make sure they are winter performance and not all season, they are better for snow and icey conditions.

good ($150-$200):
Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3
Goodyear Ultra Grip SUV
Dunlop Grandtrek SJ5

best ($200-$300):
Michelin Latitude X-Ice
Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow
Toyo Open Country G-02 plus

What kind of wheels do you have? When people put the Larger Tires or WHEELS (20's 22's).... They cause problems

Also if you broke a BELT on the Inside of the Tire, it will get BUMPY

I have a 2004 lexus GX 470 and i want to put on 22" RIMS i know i have a tire pressure sensor in factory ones, do i have to put the sensor on the new rims?

You don't have to, but the TPS light will stay on. There are replacement TPS sensors availble from wheel & tire shops, you may want to ask about them when you buy the wheels.

How do you adjust the clock in a 2004 Lexus GX 470?

to reset the time, push and hold in the "MODE" on the top of the dash for 2 seconds. "ILL" (which apparently stands for "Illumination") will appear in the display. Then push the "MODE" once. The time will blink -- to reset the hour push the "down" arrow; to reset the minutes, push the "up" arrow

HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE TIRE SENSORS ON A LEXUS GX470

the tire sensors should last for 3-4 years at least. if there is a problem you may want ot check the spare tire pressure but if all the tire pressures are ok you may have a bad sensor but you will have to take in to a shop to have the sensor initalize and programed to your vehical. if you have had tires put on and had the problem after that then i would go back to that tire store to have them make sure that they didn't break one by accident.

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand AM . My car slides all over the place when it rains, or during the icy winter. What type of tires should I buy?

If you live in the northern part and north east you should purchase a tire specifically made for bad weather and avoid the all season type tires. The latter will do best on dry surfaces, and barely get you by on ice, snow, and wet roads. Most tire manufacturers make a rain tire, and bad weather tread. The brand is up to you. One more thing, make sure the tires are inflated to the proper pressure, over inflation will cause the symptoms you specify.
