Question about Cameras
When switching on the camera the screen switches on momentarilry and says there is a lens error 1302. The motoer behind the lens tries to work but fials to open the shutter. Any suggestions?

just phoned the praktica company and you cant download from camera to memory card you need a usb lead which they supply at £10.00 cheque or postal order

SOURCE: lens error
if the problem is due to the fact that u have dropped the camera on floor or put into water...then no other go you should change the whole lens array...contact your nearest service centre

SOURCE: No shutter release
It turns out that supporting the camera while taking a shot can impart a slight twist on the seated lens. This twist is just enough to cause the camera to think that there is no lens installed .. hence the error message. Solution (provided my Henry's Camera experts) was to reseat the lens by reversing the twist. It has since happenned twice and each time recovery was effective .... Keith
