Try adding the printer via the Printers tab under Control Panel.

Click on Add Printer

Select Local Port: USB001(Virtual Printer Port for USB)

Wait for the Next Dialog Box to pop up and select the Have Disk Button.

Then go to where ever you have your driver located I used the one on the CD provided with printer, and follow the bouncing ball so to speak.

Hope this helps.

Give me the driver of cannon mx338

Can't actually GIVE you the driver because you haven't said what O.S you are using... Is it Windows XP; Wondows Vista or Windows 7... ???
The Canon website can be found at - http://www.canon.com.my/p/EN/120-All-In-One/211-Inkjet/996-PIXMA-MX338/
Look for the header Support and download click on that and enter details of your printer - this will take you to http://www.canon.com.my/p/EN/120-All-In-One/211-Inkjet/996-PIXMA-MX338/ On this page CAREFULLY CHOOSE THE CORRECT VERSION - for Windows XP 32 bit or 64 bit OR Windows Vista 32 or 64 bit or even Windows 7 32 or 64 bit.
Follow instructions to download the file(s) to your Computer and install them from there.

Can't install Canon pixma IP1600 driver on Vista

Try downloading the driver module from this site:

http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010230.asp

Click on the link and choose your operating system as Vista and a language. Download the "Canon Inkjet Printer Driver Add-On Module". It supports 32bit and 64bit systems.

This should fix your problem.

Hope this helps,

Error when installing printer: Cannon iP4600

I would go to Canon USA below is the direct link and download the driver from there. It sounds like you have a bad disk, or it's not Vista compatible.. No proplem they are always updating drivers and have them for free. I would give you a direct link to the download but they need you to specify whether your running a 32 or 64 bit version. Click on this link select your operating system and you will be able to download and install the latest drivers and software for your printer. Here you go:

Canon MP500 all in one printer is not compatible with Windows Vista. Is there a solution for this problem, or do I need to buy a different printer?

My Canon PIXMA MP500, purchased in mid-2006, came with the (then) ScanSoft OmniPage SE2 software on a CD. The PC had WinXP Installed. I had no use for the ScanSoft it so I made no effort to install it.
Fast Forward:
Two PC crashes later, July 2009. Using Win Vista Home Premium
LOST, important WinWord document file, only a hard copy available.
I tried to recover, scanning the "Xerox" copy. The SE Version of OmniPage was very complicated but I succeeded in producing a replacement *.doc file.

It appears that newer editions of WinVista contain the right printer drivers for this Canon Model.
