Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
Hi, I have been searching all the whirlpool websites and now see what model you have! You can run your machine on cold water by using a Y Piece connector. Just connect both hoses to the connector and then connect it to the cold water inlet. Your machine does have a heater and 5 heating programms so you have no problems....
Hope this helpfull.?

If it is a hot and cold fill m/c, then you can just use it from cold water.
You would need to fit what is called a Y piece connector , this supplys water to both hot and cold valves regardless of what prog you select..
You connect the cold supply to the straight leg of the connector, and the hot and cold to the other 2 connections.
Plz rate this solution.
