Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Logic 3 Laser Blaster P99L instructions for use

I received the above laser blaster, but can't seem to get it to work and there are no instructions with it.I have plugged it into the console, but not sure where the yellow plug and the smaller plug goes, as if I put it into the tv, the screen is blank. Hopefully you can help. My son is only 6, but loves shooting games, so I thought it would be fun for him.

The games shop said they only work with games for older kids, but I did try it with a 12+ game and it won't work. Is there something to be done for each game, or would the game say something?

Hope you can help the non-techno mom
Thanks
Gill

SOURCE: unable to read new games but can read old, used games???

Things like this are usually caused by overlooked manufacturing discrepancies. It may be best to contact Sony with your system's model info, serial number, and date of manufacture. They may be able to help you under warranty. Greg Holiday

SOURCE: Playstation won't read game disks

Your CDs could be scratched, try a movie DVD and if that plays, then clean your game disks, if not; well, time to get a new PS2.

SOURCE: PS3 laser Problem

It sounds like you bought a defective laser or it is the chip on your "sister board". There is a chip on the circuit board thats on the bottom of the Blu-Ray drive and it has a silver rectangle on it. Some say that that chip is going bad on some machines. I have repaird 60+ PS3's this year and I haven't had this happen to me yet though. I would suggest trying another laser, then if that doesn't work try a "sister board" from the same model of PS3. I'm still not possitive if that is a possible solution though. The "sister board" is supposedly keyed to only work with the mother board it came with. Well, I hope this helps. Good luck!!

How do i connect the GAME ELEMENTS GGE616 Light Blaster Gun for play station 2

To connect the unit you need to take the plug out of the back of the PS2 unit and connect the supplied Gcon unit and plug the yellow cable above into the Gcon. There's your standard USB plug and the standard game controller plug that has to be fitted also. From here your all set to go. If you boot your PS2 without a light gun enabled game in the system it wont work at all, its a safety feature to protect you from playing with the laser. You MUST have an enabled game in the system when you boot. As soon as your game loads you will get the chance to setup the sightings as per normal and you should take time to set up the laser.
