Do the volume controls on the stereo itself (not the remote) work? Try using a universal remote to lower the volume.

I have a Teac a-R600 integrated amp. The muting light strarts to flash after about an hour playing and mutes the sound until unit is switched off and re started. Any ideas . Thanks Ian

YOU ARE GOING TOO FAR IN VOLUME CONTROL AND YOUR AMPLIFIER TRY TO PROTECT ITSELF BY MUTING-MAKE YOUR VOLUME LITTLE BIT DOWN.IF THE PROBLEM REPEATED WITH LOWER VOLUME SETTING YOU WILL HAVE INTERNAL PROBLEM.ANYWAY CHECK YOUR CABLES FOR GOOD CONDITION.

My su g90 shuts off when i turn it up loud what do

Amplifiers get hot. The more you crank the volume up (or use extended for extended periods), the more current is required. When it gets hot, there is a fan motor (on the back), that should turn on. I believe your fan motor (brush) is worn out and therefore non-functional. Under this condition when the system overheats, it automatically changes mode to protect circuits.

Also note: if it works when you initially turn it on (cold) for a few minutes it should work fine...until it starts getting hot inside the case.

Display doesn't work on TEAC PD H300mkIII

I had the same issue today. I found that opening the unit you can see that there is a white ribbon cable connecting the head unit to the main board. removing this cable and re-inserting it the connector fixed the problem. The display now works again...hope this helps

Amplifier will only put out "faint" music, etc, even when the volume is turned all the way up

This may sound silly, but please check to be sure that the tape monitor switch in not engaged. Update this if that is not the problem.

JVC AX-33 Stereo Integrated Amplifier - very little sound!

Hi xaser

Check that someone has not turned on the tape monitor or mute. Both of these may cause the problem. Is there alot of noise with the sound you are getting when you turn it up?

Graeme
