Question about E-Machines T3985 PC Desktop
I've tried every way i possibly can to try and have the usb ports to read any of my cameras or flash drives and my digital media manager doesn't let any type of card be read as well. can someone please help me diagnose the problems.
Can you take the side panel off the pc, the one on the left when pc is viewed from the front.Look for the usb header where the front panel cables from the usb ports plug into. See if the plug is on, loose, try pulling it off to refit and check, come back to me and let me know if you need more help.

Tips for a great answer:
What happens when you tried to plug-in SD card to the computer?
Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to the issue?
To make the SDHC be recognized by the computer, we need to ensure that the card reader works in Windows 7 first. Please check if the card reader is recognized properly by the computer and you have installed the driver for it.
Meanwhile, you can plug some other storage cards to the card reader and see how it works.
I would suggest you to refer the link below
A Secure Digital (SD) card may not be recognized on a Windows 7 based computer.
Uninstall all the Generic USB drivers and reinstall.
1. Open Device Manager.
2. In "Disk Drives" dropdown, uninstall the "Generic SD/MMC USB device" drive.
3. Restart computer.
4. Insert SDHC card.
Hope this helps.
