I have a new LG KP500 and it won't sync with my computer. I've tried installing, reinstalling etc the software and know that the cable works as it is charging the phone when plugged into the computer. How do i get it to work?
Please ignore phone type below! It doesn't have the LG KP500 on this website for some reason...
The only way I can get this to work is to treat the memory card as a storage device (like a memory stick) On the phone go to settings, connectivity, usb connection then select mass storage.then transfer the MP3 files using copy and paste in My Computer You can then create playlists or use the music player as normal.
It hasn't finished syncing my 34 songs yet, but I think (hope) it will work, so I'll tell you what I did;
- Click 'Mass Storage' when prompted on your phone when you plug it into the USB cable. - Open LG PC Suite on your PC when phone has nothing on the screen except a syncing icon and Cancel button. - Click Music on PC Suite. - Highlight songs you want to sync. - Click the button 'To Phone'
- If you need clarification, ask it in the comment box above.

Hi, Most of the mobile don't need softwares to be installed for transferring pictures to computer from it. Just connect your mobile to computer and select something like "Mass storage mode/ pen drive mode", if prompted anything in your mobile. You should be getting extra pen drive like removable drives in your my computer and all your pictures can be accessed via it. If still you couldn't succeed, then you can remove the memory card from your mobile and connect it to your computer using any memory card reader and can transfer your pictures easily.
Not resolved yet. I have my files archived and have downloaded and installed the 64-bit desktop and synch manager. I set up the BT synch and ran it. I'm still working through the apps that may have triggered the infinite reset loop. I hope it's not the age of the E2 and compatibility with later software. Thoughts?
I had the same problem. If you go under Settings -> Connectivity -> USB Connections, there are two choices: Data Service & Mass Storage. For synching, you have to switch it to Data Service. Let me know if this helped.
Hi Alwyn, i had the same problem & had to reinstall everything & then it worked. However it does revert back to giving the same error code from time to time. I think its coz i bought my imate jamin from a firm in sydney over the internet. When i got it, it had no mms settings on it [i later discivered it was an 'import' so i had to delete all its software & reinstall everything from software off the net]. I've been through hundreds of dollars trying to solve this problem [i originally thought it was my desktop soo i bought a laptop to synch with & it did the same]. You just need to persist in re-setting up the bluetooth when it does it but remember to cancel all previous bluetooth settings.
I'll never buy an expensive phone off the net again - i'd prefer to pay $1000 from a shop rather than $900 of the net & have these problems.
You don't really need for it to. You can go to setting on your Axim, then to connections, and use the avant go connection, to connect, and synch with avant go that way. You can synch to avant go that way, with any internet connection. If it's connected to active synch as a guest then you can't synch with active synch also.
Yes - the software was included.
Your CD software allows you to select synch with Palm Desktop or synch to Outlook. As long as Outlook is installed on the PC, the CD software installer will see Outlook and offer you this option. So the answer to your question is - reinstall the software and take the option to sync with Outlook when it is offered.
PS just in case you have Outlook Express, this is not the same things as full Outlook. Outlook Express requires third-party software for synchronization of its email database and of its addressbook (actually Windows Address Book WAB format).
