Question about LG KU990 Viewty
I have a new LG KP500 and it won't sync with my computer. I've tried installing, reinstalling etc the software and know that the cable works as it is charging the phone when plugged into the computer. How do i get it to work?
Please ignore phone type below! It doesn't have the LG KP500 on this website for some reason...
The only way I can get this to work is to treat the memory card as a storage device (like a memory stick) On the phone go to settings, connectivity, usb connection then select mass storage.then transfer the MP3 files using copy and paste in My Computer You can then create playlists or use the music player as normal.

It hasn't finished syncing my 34 songs yet, but I think (hope) it will work, so I'll tell you what I did;
- Click 'Mass Storage' when prompted on your phone when you plug it into the USB cable.
- Open LG PC Suite on your PC when phone has nothing on the screen except a syncing icon and Cancel button.
- Click Music on PC Suite.
- Highlight songs you want to sync.
- Click the button 'To Phone'

There is an issue about to installing the LG PcSuiteand Drivers.
First when you use Xp or Vista or Windows7 /RC you've to find
the map on your CD-Rom drive or on the local drive on your pc.
Now find the setup program. Stay on it and click right there will
be a little popup menu.
Choose Run as Administrator. When you get a warning choose yes.
Wait until verything is installed. When its finished connect your
LG on the USB port.
DO nothing else and wait. You will see that windows is looking for the drivers leave this process alone!!!
This takes a few min. to compleet it. Be patience.....
After it finished you will be notesed that its ready to use.
Now start the LG PCSuite and connect via USB or Bluethoot.
This should be fine and the sync will only work with outlook or
outlook express cause your contact list.
Pictures and mp3 files don't need the sync function.
When you still got problems with the bluehoot connection
try to reinstal the bluethoot applications and drivers remove it
If this doesn't work then its better to use the USB connectivity by
cable instead of Bluethoot.
[ Be sure that the visibillity of your LG phone in the bluethoot
settings is on so the pc can find your phone and vise versa.
I hope this will helps you out.
