Re: Why Does ''Work Offline'' comes up/show
Is it a game you have to connect to internet? if so may be a firewall needs disabled or bypassed.
or is it a multiplayer game? you may have to refer to the game makers website for any problems with certain systems or installations. also try reinstalling game again cause a file may have gotten corrupted or something and hanging up on start up causing the error. if you follow these steps and get same thing please come back to me and I'll go on further and post the game name and your pc specs i'll look further into this matter and get you up and running again soon.

The core gaming functions in both Windows and XBox 360 are based in part on DirectX API's so if it works in Vista/Win7 it should work with a 360 game that's not just a cheap port from a different version. The only issue I can see (if it does work) would be control mapping.
First, check that your computer fulfills the minimum requirements or not bcoz if it doesn't then your game wont start. Extra suggestions:- 1)Try disabling your Anti-Virus and check if any game file is deleted or repaired by it. If so, then reinstall the game when the software is disabled and never let the software to scan it. 2)Try to run the game without any game booster or vice-versa. 3)After installing the game restart (reboot) your computer. Thanks. Hope it Helps.
Dont use 1920x1080. Its probably being very heavy for your graphics card. You havent specified what graphics capacities your PC has so I cannot tell for sure. But I play COD MW using HDMI cable on a 1080p TV too and what has worked for me is,
Set the TV resolution to 1280x800 and the same for COD MW. This is the best and safest widecreen option. You can give 1400x900 a try but I am pretty sure 1280x800 will work fine.
usually they include a disk put the disk in, if it doesn't auto play, go into "my computer"(or if your using vista or windows 7 its called "computer")there should be an icon of the software your trying to install, right click on it and go to "AutoPlay", if that doesn't do it then right click on that same icon and go to "open" then there should be a .exe file in there usually called setup. i hope this helps
sory don't have a solution i have the same prob i have a logitach wingman extreme gamepad controller and it says it is working fine but dosent work with pj64 games like perfect dark or golden eye but i can play them with my keyboard wtf ?
im also having a similar problem. I went to logitech site and downloaded the driver from windows. When I try to install it it shows me a status bar that means nothing at all to me, goes through the entire thing, and then at the end it says "Failed to install." and disapears without a trace, leaving me without drivers and no where else to look to get this stupid peice of crap working.
