Question about InFocus LP 240 Multimedia Projector
I've just been given an InFocus LP240 Projector and have managed to connect it to my playstation 2 but can't get any sound. The InFocus LP240 has a one socket at the back that says 'volume in.' Can anyone tell me what sort of speaker / connecter I need? Do I have to have an amp or will just a pair of speakers do? Thanks.
May I mention that in no way are the speaker(s) in the projector even close to adequate to use for a video gaming. You can buy an inexpensive set of powered computer speakers wit a sub-woofer ($35-$75) that will be worth every penny! Don;t even waste your time messing around with the tiny useless "speakers" in the projector.
PS. You can find a decent powered system at Best Buy, radio Shack or even Home Depot.

It's just a line level signal with a 1/8" stereo phono jack. there is an amp and speakers in the projector, but they're meant for presentations, so there's not much to them. but there is no audio out coming from the projector, so you'd need a separate amp and speakers coming from the ps2.
