Question about Magellan eXplorist 600 GPS Receiver
When i connect my magellan explorist 600 to my pc/ laptop, it is not recognised. i get a message " usb device not recognised - one of your usb device seems to be malfunctioning etc...." i have installed the software provide in the cd.
You probably have the USB adapter connected upside-down on the unit.

I had the same problem and sure enough the cord with the screw in it was upside down.
Amazing what connecting the unit properly will do...
