I hate this thing. I purchased it and have searched and searched on the internet for support because it doesn't play video files like it says. I have the Mambo-Mano 4GB. It plays MP3 music files and pictures but, doesn't play the .mtv converted files OR the .amv files.

The "Device" is the mp3 player. It should have come with an installation CD. Because this installation software was not installed, you are getting that message. If you have the CD, run it.

This is very curious, but Microsoft marks their website as a "dangerous download" website. I checked it out, and it seems to be just like any other mp3 manufacturer's website, and there didn't seem to be any harmful software for the Mambo Mano players. There is a driver download for pre-XP Windows systems, but that is all. The user's manual is useless and obviously translated from another language.

Dont know how to get into my downloads

Please be more specific about what downloads are you talking about ..and what you want to do ..
If you are referring to files downloaded over the internet into your computer and now you are unable to find them ..usually all downloaded files will go to My documents folder under the folder called downloads..if you downloaded directly from the browser or using a torrent manager..Or for some downloads In C partition ..download folder..or ..even on desktop directly if you used internet explorer .
To find them easier , in case settings are changed , just make a search from the start /search ...select file type ..and name ..or part of the name and when you locate them ..take a look in the address bar and see where they are located.
If you are talking about files downloaded into a ipod or some other device ..directly from the internet ..than the situation changes depending on the device and brand ..but usually if there is a downloads folder they will be there or they are automatically placed into folders by categories..or file type ..
for example if you use only the internal memory ..and downloaded an audio file ..it will be placed in the audio folder automatically ..On some players and media devices ..if you use a memory card ..and it is formatted in the device ..they can be directed into download folder on memory card ..or in correspondent folder with the file type ...photos to images... music to audio ..and so on ...

I want audio driver for XP of lenovo ideacenter K 210

The same model Ideacentercan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your Ideacenter, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEBsite - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers foryour model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true

I am trying to download from my computer onto my new mp610-g and when trying to play the downloaded files, get the format error. what do i need to do?

Hello,
The support site for the MP610 can be reached here:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=212&pcat_id=1001
Under Downloads there's:
A firmware update for File Sys Error and a video converter for converting videos before transferring them to the player.

To get the matching formats for the player:

1. Get the video converter for the MP610:
http://www.cobyusa.com/files/software/VideoConverter_MP610.exe
For getting this execute file right click it and select "Save Target As..." for saving it to location on the computer. Use the converter
for all videos before transferring them to the player.

2. Use the Coby Media Manager for transfers of all media.
A download for this Media Manager can be found here:
http://www.digdash.biz/product/coby/coby_media_manager/install/coby-mediamanager-2009b0924.exe
For getting this execute file right click it and select "Save Target As..." for saving it to location on the computer. After that run the execute file to install Coby Media Manager.

For a setup of your player in the manager:
Run Coby Media Manager
Select in Tools > Device Manager... in the devices list the MP610.
Add the MP610 to the favorite devices.
To setup the output file format for the MP610 select under the DEVICE menu in Coby Media Manager the Device configuration.
Setup format for video is MTV (cannot be changed for the MP610)
Setup format for audio is selectable 96 kbps; 128 kbps; 192 kbps.

When this information helped, I'd appreciate your vote.
If you need more assistance, just add a comment.
