I looked up the specs for your computer and cannot find a way to hookup external speakers. Short of upgrading to a soundcard that supports external speakers I cannot find a solution for you. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Unless the other models have a soundcard that has a speaker jack then no they would not be compatible.

I have had that laptop once and had the same problem. I knew that it was the maximum volume of the speaker so I purchased external USB speakers to connect to the computer and the sound was clear and loud enough to hear anything played on the computer.

Thanks

what happens when you plug the speakers in the green port? You might want to try the other audio ports because on a few new computers i have seen the speakers have to be plugged in a different hole. also make sure the speakers are plugged up to the electric plug.

It sure sounds like to me that your sound properties got messed up some how, Go into your control panel and look up your sound card or sounds. Now once in you settings, You can set them the way you want to hear it, Or you can use the default setting, That would set it back to original factory settings and back to normal, It just sounds like someone changed the settings by accident, That should get your speakers back to normal, You will also notice that there a many settings in your audio properties that can change the way the system sounds thru the speakers. If that don't help the problem let me know we will get it right if you can 't get it.... thanks bear001
