Hi! I think your battery is dead and you need to get it replaced if your ipod is under warranty. Bcoz the lifetime of an iPod's battery is around 2 years. And if it is out of warranty you can get your ipod replaced from apple. For more info check out-

My MP3 player is not charging. How to fix this

Try a different charger first. If it still won't charge get a new mp3player. Unless it is an I pod or other similarly priced unit you probably will not be able purchase the parts to repair it. You would need to know how to diagnose and Repair The Internal charging Circuit AND The battery.

My i pod is not geting charged, i can exchange data via pc but it doesent get charged please help me out.

If the ipod does charge properly through the USB port of the PC then the ipod battery and system is in order. The fault can be due to the battery charging port or the charger or the wire to the charger unit.
Please have the adapter checked, use a multimeter to have the voltage checked.

My apple ipod touch will not charge. Nothing will come across the screen. not even a view if the battery. I've had it charging hooked to the USB cable to my computer for at least 30 minutes and still...

Hi,

it might be that the charging space that makes the i pod charge is faulty due to always removing and fixing the charger in the charging space. The charging space might have been damaged or the voltage of the light i your area fluctuates and might have affected the charger too.

Check the charger with another i pod to confirm if is the charger or the charging space that needs to be replaced.

Take care.

The i pod is not showing that it is charging

Since it has been sitting for so long, try doing this: Connect the ipod to your computer and let it sit for about fifteen minutes. Then it should show up in your computer and under itunes. Usually, if your ipod dies completely, when you try to charge it using a wall or car charger, it will do that, just flashing the apple logo and going back off. Leaving it plugged up to the computer will allow the battery to charge just enough so that it can sync with itunes. While it is plugged into the computer and charging, it should say something like, battery very low, charging. It should work after letting it sit plugged up to the computer.

I pod problems

Hi
I think your battery may be going bad or you need to purchase a wall charger to fully charge your battery. Charging your iPod on your computer works fine for a while, but as the battery gets older, it needs more charging and often it doesn't get enough from the computer. Try a wall charger first. Charge it all the way up until it stops charging. If it still shows a low battery you need to have a new battery. There are a lot of places that can do it. Hope that helps.

Sansa Doesnt Charge

You tried everything that could be done. There is an internal component that is defective that will not allow ANY battery to keep a charge. Find out from Sansa if you are still in warranty.

If the light is flashing, that means it's charging, but it's possible you're not getting enough charging current to really make a difference.
I would try charging the player with a wall charger (can you borrow a charger from a friend?)

Charging ipod

Have you tried connecting your ipod with a different cord? Or maybe a different charger? Also, try to plug it directly into the socket--not a power strip or something like that.

This is an interesting problem.
