Receiver, Preset and Menu options all work well but LCD screen does not light up and I can't watch any DVD's.

Should wire HU's Power Const to Amp's Remote On. Instead you wired HU's Power Antenna to Amp's Remote On. So the stock amp got triggered only in radio mode.

There isn't any code that I know of. Most DVD head units have one extra wire in their wiring harnesses, compared
to a standard CD head unit. On mine, it's a peach-colored wire, and is
the activation wire for the DVD feature. During the installation, the
instructions call for this wire to be tapped into the emergency brake
indicator light wire. The reason is this:
The e-brake indicator
light is what is called a "ground complete" circuit. That means that
the bulb always has power applied, but when you pull the brake, that
puts a ground to the wire and completes the circuit, allowing it to
illuminate. The head unit sees this ground, and activates the DVD
player.
In my Jensen unit, I simply ran this wire to a ground (I
used a screw near the fuse box), and I put a switch on the wire, so I
could break the ground contact at will. Jensen calls for a procedure to
activate DVD playback. In their instructions, they tell you to select
DVD from the option menu, and when the "lawyer screen" comes up (the
one warning you to park before you watch a movie), you release the
e-brake for 3-5 seconds, and then reapply it. To simulate that with the
switch I used, I leave the switch closed (activated), and select DVD.
Then I flip the switch "off" for 3-5 seconds, and flip it back "on".
This tricks the head unit into thinking I put the e-brake off for a few
seconds and then put it back on, and the movie will start. Then I can
drive away.
Basically, ground the wire that is used for DVD
activation, and put a switch inline on it. Then you can break and
reapply the ground in whatever manner is required by the manufacturer
of your head unit. If there is no off/on sequence with yours, as there
is with mine, simply ground the wire to a screw inside the dashboard
and you're done.

yes there is an e-brake override code! ive been using it for a year without the peach wires! i've never used the pink wires before. connect a second screen or any tv (temporarly) or what ever and there is no blue screen for the second screen...insert a dvd. on the remote push stop twice and then 1, 2, 6, 4. push the joystick on the unit down twice, and then click it inward once. then press sys. setup on the remote twice to save your settings. and there you go!
SOURCE: jensen player
Insert the DVD
After the disc loads and plays you will see a blue screen telling you "it is unlawful to drive with a movie blah blah blah"
1)Activate the brake sequence and disable the blue screen using the hand brake, the switch method or anything else to give the unit its three pulses to disable that freakin blue screen.
(What I did was I installed my radio entirely, then took the pink wire and touched for two seconds, removed for two seconds and then touched and held the negative pole of a mower battery laying on my passenger seat until the screen was no longer blue.)
2) Next, on the main remote press stop twice, then 1, 2, 6, 4.
You will now see a hidden menu that says:
Region Code
Brake Override (I know you're drooling by now)
Macrovision (Watch all the burned and pirated movies you want if this option is off)
Loader Version
Model Version
3) Using the right joystick on the unit, navigate to the options of your choice, click on them to toggle on, off or which region code you want.
This is what you want:
Region Code: 1
Brake Override ON
Macrovision: OFF
When your done, click SYS SETUP on the main remote TWICE to save the settings and bingo, your done!!! Hooray!!! You can now kill your whole family in the car while watching that adult movie while your driving.....
The other way of doing this is by not engaging the parking brake sequence, thus you're inputting the code blindly.
1) Insert the DVD and you'll get the blue screen.
(If you have more than one tv, the unit itself will have the blue screen but the additional tv's you have plugged in will NOT, they will show the dvd menu. Thus you will be able to see the hidden menu on the additional screens after inputting the code, but not on the main unit because of its blue screen.)
2) On the main remote, push stop twice and then 1, 2, 6, 4
3) Push the joystick on the unit SOUTH twice and then click it once.
4) Press SYS SETUP on the main remote twice to save your settings.

At the point where the dvd screen comes out you should see this gold cable its called the flex cable which connects the screen to the motherboard check if that is loose or damaged or anything that may be the problem.
