If you ordered the Linux version don't even give yourself an ulcer worrying about it, send it back. You can google the problem and you will see a thousand resolutions, most of which don't work, it's a bug in the Xandros operating system.

You should be a little bit more specific. But since you were not, I will try to be more specific about this.
First thing to know is that connecting keyboard and mouse to the computer will always work, no matter what. Meaning that once you connect either one, they will always work. Here are some things to try:
1. Check to make sure that the connector used for the computer is fine, its not broken or bent in the connecter. Check both the computer slot and the connector itself.
2. Make sure that the batteries are new if its wireless.
3. If mouse and keyboard use a separate connectors, and you know that mouse works. Try unplugging the mouse and connecting the keyboard in the same slot.
4. Try a different USB slot in the computer
5. Try a different keyboard all together
6. Make sure there are no off switches on the keyboard that might be in the off position.
This could be any number of things that are happening. First off the power supply unit may be charging but not powering the board. It could be the input pin connector is loose at the plug in port. The board is burnt. I suggest with this fix take it in to a qualified tech to solve this matter at least get a diagnosis and then do the repairs yourself at least you will know what the problem is. That would be my suggestion. John
Welcome to Fixya. I would like to know what is the operating system on your computer so that we can check what seems to be the issue. Please also provide the make and model of the router that your trying to connect to

I will be amazed if this review meets the public eye before it is skimmed out of the pile but know that it is the honest truth...
I bought an Acer netbook last week, could get wireless connection but was unable to surf the web. I called customer support and they insisted that I would have to purchase technical support which would essentially cost another $200. I decided to take the computer(my fathers christmas gift) back to try another one because the additional $200 was over my budget. After I exchanged the laptop for another computer to only come to face with the same problem, I was assured that if I purchased the support that a technition would be able to resolve the matter. After over 3 hours they were unable to resolve the matter and told me that there was nothing further that they could do. I filed a claim for a refund on the technical support and was (VERY RUDELY I MIGHT ADD) denied. I'm really not sure which is worse, the customer support or the product. After my experiences not only would I not recommend purchase, I would strongly advise against it. I hope this review helps someone before they make the same mistakes that I did.
