Question about IBM E74 17" CRT Monitor
It working normal for the first 20 minutes after that the screen becom blanking and the power of horizontal output make strange sound. but when the input signal disconnect the monitor display show (no signal) and the power work normal without any problem.
Hi, you can try lowering the screen resolution, the color quality and the screen refresh rates. Work from there and observe each setting/increment. soon as the monitor quits, press escape to revert to previous setting. I get the impression that you are familiar with electronics, the problem is your monitor horz. freq is playing catch up and eventually fails. Lowering your PC setting then might do the trick. To lower the settings, right click on desktop, properties, settings tab & advance button - Monitor. Hope this be of some help. Good luck
