200$ shredder or a 6$ replacment gear ,,,, great advice
takes about 10 min to replace the gear too

Its just seated together with the gear/blades housing ,

make sure you didnt miss one screw, then pry and pull upward its just stuck as the gear housing and blades are pressed in and seat firmly making it seem like its stuck , over time all that paper goo is also binding it up .
