Question about Haier HWF05XC5 Air Conditioner
I have a Haier HWF05XC5 Air Conditioner (the one with the switches) > The problemi I have is that whenever I plug it in the plug "trips off". What I mean is that in the big plug part it "turns off" like if it was testing. I've pushed the reset button and when I plug it in, it does the same thing. I've even tried plug it in with the reset button pushed in, turned off or even reseting while plugged and the AC still doesnt turn on.
That means you have a short to ground somewhere in the system. They can be a pain to track down. You must have a volt/ohm meter and check each component and part individually untill you find the short.
There is a small chance that the GFCI is bad itself.(The part thats poping off and has the reset button.)
