Question about Coby DVD-224 DVD Player
I have a brand new coby 224. I maybe played 10 movies in it. I had just started a movie, and the picture froze, half way through. I tried to press stop, and nothing happened. I opened the dvd player, reinserted the movie, and the play symbol, just went around and around. The remote works, because it opens and closes. I tried another movie, one I new was brand new, and it did the same thing. I tried the movie in the dvd player upstairs, and it worked. What's wrong?

Unfortunately, if the player will no longer read any commercial dvd that you attempt to play, the unit is defective and needs to be replaced. Hopefully, since it's brand new, you still have the receipt and can return it to the retailer for an exchange or refund. The unit has a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. You would need the receipt in order to receive a warranty exchange.
