You need to convert the files to WMV files or AVI files for the Creative player to use it, and it has to be a certain resolution and so on. Files you purchase from iTunes are formatted for iPod and iTunes and licensing may not permit conversion to other fornats. You may need to use another 3rd party software to convert them such as River Past Video Cleaner Pro with a plug in. There are a lot of converters out there. MelodyCan is another one. I don't know of free ones but they may exist. I no longer have the Creative Video converter on my system, but I do recall some problems converting certain files and I had to use RiverPast and some other ones.

Let me know if I can help further.

I just found this page with more info for you. Try this link.

Copy and paste into your browser. It has info on MelodyCan as well as another one that sounds pretty good.

Cannot play videos

Use Sony's content transfer to transfer the video. In the settings, select the automatic conversion of the video when you drag an drop it using content transfer. This worked for me with Windows 7 and an upgraded device firmware to version 1.0.1. Both Sony's Content Transfer 1.3 and firmware version 1.0.1 can be found on Sony's website.

Music videos cant put them in ipod

Locate videos. There are four main places where you can find legal videos intended for iPod use. The iTunes store (where videos can be directly downloaded) and video podcasts are certainly the most popular, but digital copies from DVDs as well as personal digital videos can also be put on the device.
  • Step 2 Import your videos into iTunes. If you have downloaded the videos from iTunes or have downloaded a video podcast from the service, this step has been done for you (as well as step 3), and you can proceed to step 4. However, if you are trying to put digital copies, or personal videos on the iPod, put all of the videos in a central folder on the desktop. Go to iTunes and select the "Add file to iTunes" to import the contents of your folder to the iTunes program.
  • Step 3 Convert non-iTunes files. iPods only work with MPEG-4 videos, so if you are uploading videos of other formats, such as AVI or WMV, they will need to be converted with the iTunes program. Highlight the videos you need to convert and right-click to pull up a sub-menu. Select "convert" to begin the process. Alternately, you can drag the files into the iTunes conversion queue, which is on the right side of the program. You will see a notice when your files are finished converting.
  • Step 4 Sync your iPod. When your new video files are ready, simply plug your iPod Classic into a USB port and then drag the video files you wish to put on your device over the iPod icon. The icon will then change to "syncing" status. Wait a few minutes while the videos are transferred. Once the icon has changed back to normal, simply press the eject button and unplug your iPod.

Can't convert mp4 files through Creative Zen video converter

Creative Zen has its own video format, so you need a thrid party video converter to convert videos to the format fit for your player.
Here I recommend you try Wondershare Video Converter Platinum, which could convert between all popular Video formats ( AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, FLV, MPEG etc.) that support all popular portable media players (such as Creative Zen, Zune/Zune HD, iPod/iPhone and PSP) and the latest iPod Nano 5G, iPod Touch 3, iPhone 3GS/OS 3.1.

    Cant import video

You need the software for the Mozaic. Most Creative brand players need the software it came bundled with to convert videos before it can added to the player.
If you don't have the Centrale software CD to convert videos, you can download it from Creative's site here:

Choose the "Applications" section on this page, you want the Creative Zen Mozaic Starter Pack.

Not every file type is going to be able to be converted using this siftware - you may need to convert first to avi or some format that the Creative converter recognizes, and then re-run the conversion and transfer.
