Try loosening the screws a little on the fix, did you nylon or rubber washers in the fix, if you just used metal on the bottm of the board, there is a good chance you have a short and cooked the board.

-   i did the x clamp problem 5 times on my console and each time i still get the 3 red lights. i check for the error code and it was 4 lights, 4 lights, 2 lights, and 1 light = 0021 error code. i hope you have a solution to this.

error code 0020 is currently unkown, however it is possibly overheating. and 0021 is caused by a timeout on the dvd drive or a GPU error, try re-heating the chips using a blow dryer on low heat for 10-15mins.
