If you scroll to the bottom of this page, there's an iHome customer support toll-free number you can call to ask them how to replace the batteries. Or, you can e-mail your question directly to iHome, but calling would probably be faster.

Are schematics available for this device ihome iw1

I'm interested too because of a charging error. Battery is well, the problem is on the Mainboard (not the vertical with the WIFI-circuits). All voltages on the stabilization-ICs are correct

Looks like you have a 3 in 1, not a 2 in 1. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, there's an iHome customer support toll-free number you can call to ask them how to replace the batteries. Or, you can e-mail your question directly to iHome, but calling would probably be faster.

My brand new ihome ip87 just stopped working. It will charge my ipod but it shows no clock and it won't turn on.

Mine is doing the same thing. So I looked it up. And it said to take out your iPod and unplug the ihome then take out the batteries from the ihome and leave it for an hour.. Then it will reset itself.. I just did it and it worked.. I also had to put in new batteries in the ihome

Connection problem, hitting bumps messes up the connection

I had the same problem when hitting bumps. I found that it was the batteries were moving to much when I would hit a bump and the Ihome would shut off and then back on making it sound like it was skipping. I put 2 small plastic pieces on the negative side of the batteries by the spring connector so that the batteries wouldn't move and that seemed to fix all of my problems.

Ihome won't play ipod, even after resetting ipod

When I first got my ipod touch and my ihome I had no problems and then all of a sudden everything worked except for the ihome wouldn't play music. It charged properly and the alarm and clock worked fine just the music wouldn't play. So I assumed it was the ihome and took it back and exchanged it only to get home and have the exact same problem. So I reset my Ipod and it worked. To do it you have to hold the sleep button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across it to turn off. Press and hold the sleep button until the apple comes on. Next I sync'ed and looke dfor an update. After all this I docked it and it worked.
