Question about Casio Exilim EXZ1050 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Corrupt images created by Exilim EX-Z1050

About 5-10% of the photos taken with this camera result in corrupted images, with segments of the photo misaligned with the rest of the picture, and with different coloration and/or contrast. I have updated to the latest firmware, but the problem persists.

We discovered that the photos weren't corrupt on the camera, but were being corrupted when transferred to Picassa, during the transfer process. We transferred some test photos using a simple file copy operation and it worked out fine.

This sounds like a stuck shutter. Has the camera been left inactive for an extended period? If so, see this link for troubleshooting steps for this problem.

My wonderful exilim ex-s770 camera when switched on is now fuzzy through the view finder and when the photo is taken

1- Easy: could it be the lens needs cleaning?

2- Difficult Hardware problems:
-Do you see striped unclear violet marks all over the image? If so it could be the CCD sensor has become degraded
-Could be the lens is misaligned out of position due to a blow or fall?

New photo files write over existing files.

How large is your memory card? If you're shooting at the full 9mp and highest quality, that takes up a lot of room on a small card.

Photos shot on the street and everything is blank what to do?

Hi there

Is it able to take pictures successfully inside, or does it not work at all?

Just to confirm, is this for the Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera or a different model?

Please also let me know what happens when you take a photo. Does it show that the photo is being taken (for example by a sound, or visual indication), or does anything appear on the LCD screen at all?

I look forward to your reply.

OVer exposure

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

Can't repair by yourself.
It's need repair camera machine shutter.
