Dishwasher fill timer not long enough-GE Profile dishwasher

No. There is no way to change that. A dishwasher will accommodate low water pressure but only to a point. You can add hot water manually but thatā€™s work and a over flow could happen. I assume you have hard water because of the well. This could be your problem. Overtime calcium deposits can build up inside the water valve or at the point of entry. Especially in a older dishwasher. Iā€™ve seen it happen many times. The water flow is restricted causing a low water fill. You can clean it out yourself if your handy. Good luck

Washing machine will not stop filling up with water

Is the machine siphoning off water as it fills? If it is check the height of the drain hose and make sure it is above the height of the normal level of water that would be in te drum when washing, if the hose is to low the drum will siphon off the water on its own and continue to fill. If the machine is not siphoning off water while filling then you may have a blocked pressure hose or the pressure hose bottle may be blocked not allowing the pressure switch to activate. there may even be a small hole in the pressure switch hose. Check the thin pressure hose that goes from the bottom of the drum to the pressure switch.

My washer last nite kept filling up w water. & never would stop (until i stopped it myself)- its like the Sensot-or full indicatrer? stopped working- & needless to say it fllooded my laundry...

there is a water height sensor -- this sensor works via a small tube that is connected to the outside drum and runs down to the pressure sensor,, when water reaches a certain height the pressure sensor stops the fill cycle.

My washer is top load, super capacity plus. the washer never fills up with water, almost half of the spindle height. I have check the water hoses and they are turned all the way up.

its the fill up valve pipe blocked up with gunk,,
this valve stops the washer from over filling
if its partly blocked the washer wont ever fill right up have it striped down and blow this tube out so its clear,,all will be well after that is done

My washing machine wont stop filling up with

well the part that tells the water to stop running in is the pressure switch if the water valve is working properly so disconnect the power and if the water continues to run in it is the water valve just replace it

Washing Machine won't stop filling and then won't stop emptying

Does your machine fill with water even if the machine is off? In this case your inlet valve at top of machine is defective & can be easily replaced (will tell u where to get spares, if your dealer cannot) by yourself.

If water does not stop, after filling machine at a low level(is this a front loader?) and is flowing away - check your exit pipe, it has to have a certain height (approx 3 feet) up before going down to your drain pipe.

Hotpoint wma10 washing machine wont stop filling up

You may have a problem with the pressure dome hose (has a cut or kink in it) or it may be a problem with the main control board. Sometimes that small hose inside the machine can get a cut or come loose. That sends pressure to the board and its valve to let the machine know that it has the right amount of water in it. If it has a hole or is blocked, that signal wont ever come on, and you have overfilling.
