The laser pickup unit has the fault. For blu-ray players, it will be very difficult to get it from open electronic spare part market. You have to contact the authorized service center for Samsung in this case. They won't give it you, only provide a guaranteed service to your player.
I've found that you can use a Synergy V Universal Remote which is supplied by some cable companies like Time Warner, RCN etc. You can also buy this remote. Code 576 worked on this remote. I can power up and down, rewind, FF, and I can launch Netflix etc usinf the ABCD keys. You can't control everything but this remote does a good job of controlling all my different components including my LG TV, Bose Sound and Cable Box. This pdf seems to be best reference.

I have a 37 inch vizio and had the same problem. After a little web research, I came across a suggestion that the LG codes might work. I tried it and found that the code 19 worked. You might try that. If 19 doesn't work for you, one of the other LG codes might (they are 06, 21, 22, 23 or 78).
i have the same problem here, have a BD-P1200 and have been trying to find a code to use the samsung tv remote to control the Blu-Ray. The remote controls the DVD player but there is no code for Blu Ray!
