I have set the clock settings manually but when I power off the recorder these are lost and I have to reset them again...is there anyway to save these settings so this does not happen every time I turn off the recorder? - Many Thanks Annette

The clock settings will only be retained if you power down the unit via the On/Off button on the remote or on the unit i.e. put the unit into standby mode. If you switch off mains power the clock settings are lost as there is no backup battery in the unit. Power consumption on standby is negligible.
