Think I'm Missing some wire(s)

Bought a player.Missing the ground wire is it located to the left of the positive wire?

    does it go into the slot directly beside the red wire?And where does the yellow wire go?

Try to find a similar harness and cut out the black wire with the connector intact by using a razor blade or box cutter and insert it into the one that you need. You can also solder the black lead to a wire from the inside and tab it onto the metal case then ground the the case to the vehicle frame if you are technically capable. Good luck.

    The yellow wire is usually on top of the black wire, and they both usually at the beginning of the connector with the bigger slots for bigger wires. Best bet is to browse around pawnshop for a similar deck with the same brand name or at a local stereo shop to make sure. You dont want to guess on it, bad resolve can happen.

Ouku single din no sound from rca cables


Sorry I did not use the video out RCA cables. My audio RCA cables worked fine... I ran them to my JBL amplifier through a conversion adapter. I did not run it direct to the amp.. I used Metra TYTO-01 03-08 Toyota Vehicles Harness for JBL SYS (Ebay item 160560648718) and it worked great.

Here is the wiring color coding that I found online:

Yellow is 12 volt constant
Red is 12v switched accessory
Black is ground
White is front left positive
White/Black is front left negative
Gray is right front +
Gray/Black is Right front -
Green is Rear left +
Green/black is Rear Left -
Purple is Rear Right +
Purple/black is rear right -
Blue is Power Antenna *
Blue/White is Remote turn-on* There may only be one of these two but the do the same thing.
Orange is Illuminaton
Orange/White is dimmer
Light green is parking brake.

These are universal color codes for aftermarket radios. If anything is missing you shouldn't really need it.

if you are popping fuses you must ground all the black wires to metal in the car sounds like the ground is carrying a positive charge .......you must also check the 10amp radio fuse located in the panels of the car mostly located in-dash panel by the door ........hope i helped

Dvd player need to know how toground it to play while driving.


yes the e brake is how they have it hooked up to so you cannot view while driving now u have to locate that wire and send it to the ignition positive and then u can view while driving thankyou
