After you have copied or removed the pictures from the card, insert it into the new camera and run the format, which will erase the card.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Im attempting to use a new SD card, camera says memory card error, card locked

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

I only get 20 sec of recording

The only thing wrong is that it is hd, and 32mb is too small. if you want more than twenty seconds get a bigger card. about 1gb (what i have) will get you an hour. you can leave the 32mb card in an old camera.

Wont accept a new 2GB memory card, its saying memory full.

Unfortunately, this camera will only accept up to a maximum of 1GB for a memory card.

So you will need to use a smaller memory card.

It's not in the documentation, but it should be.

MEMORY CARD LOCKED

Unlock it. SD cards have a little slider on the left side (face up) that locks and unlocks it.
