Re: DELL 26IN LCD model w2607c

Some times it takes weeks or months. i've had twoo of theses tvs. leave it unplugged for a while. try a few days. when turnig it back on do not use the remote. hold the power button down for an extra two or three seconds. sometimes this will turn the tv on and off again, but sometimes this is the best way to get it to turn on if you have been having that problem. the best thing you can do is try extending your warranty from dell or having them ship you out a new one. once these things break there is really no fixing them and they only last a maximum of a couple years.

Check and replace its main power regulator board. It might be faulty. Normally there is no repair to these boards. Card base replacement should be done.

I have a Dell television model W2607C that does not power up. The power light is not coming on.

The dell powerboard inside is bad and is verry common in these dell tv sets and the cost to get another one will be expensive around $150-$200 if you can find them.

Model W2607C. Does not power up.

Check the 27 mhz oscillator on the back of the main board. Resolder of replace it. It causes lots of different blinking amber lights.

I recently received a Dell W2607C LCD TV from a friend...when I turn the unit on, I get a blue light that appears to be a stand by light. However, there is no picture at all. Please advise.

first check with a different cable , if it still doesnt come on , then you have to open it up and look for a burnt or cold solder where the transformer is ,also look around for any other solder. hope this helps AJ

Dell 32 LCD Flat Screen multiple problems

I have checked all the connections and replaced all the cables with the highest quality I could buy.  I think the problem is in the TV tuner itself.  I live in a MDU so I am stuck with a rooftop satellite/master antenna.
