Tried every available fix from several boards short of taking the guitar apart. Finally got so frustrated that I returned the entire world tour to the retailer it was purchased from for a refund. Took the cash and purchased another on the outside chance that it was the components that were bad and now it WORKS! It was either that or buy a wii. Kids are happy and now Mom & Dad are happy.
Bottom line, if you have tried everything reasonable and it still won't work, return it for another.

Try pressing and holding the little button on the guitars receiver and the green button on the fret board on the guitar

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Trying to get guitar hero world tour on ps2 but keeps going to browser, works fine on a friends ps2, what am I doing wrong ?

i had the exact same problem. the original ps2 doesnt have "up to date" hardware in it, so sometimes there are disks that it cant read. what you have to do is take it to the place where you bought it and ask for a different disk. they may give you a hassle, so be prepared to push through with your argument that "the customer is always right"

Guitar hero world tour xbox 360

The guitar syncs the same was a regular controller does.

There's a tiny sync button near the XBox button on the guitar. Press that, and then the sync button on your Console.

Can't use drums for rockband on guitar world tour

The instruments for Rock Band and GH:WT are compatible on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, not the Wii. Blame Activision, the creators of GH:WT - they went a different route with hardware for the Wii that made things incompatible.
