Question about Car Audio & Video
I own a SUBARU Tribeca. It has car radio 6CD Changer P-141. I have bought a car from USA, ofcorse in EU it does not work properly. The radio could only be tuned to odd frequencies (91.7, 91.9, 92.1 etc). I heard that someone with the same problem found a fix to it, on a different model. How can I change it from FM 100 to FM 50.
Is there anything I can do?

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: odd frequency
Hey, all you have to do is to turn off your radio and press on the audio botton until you can adjust your clock, then press again until you see "FM 100" on the display, now push the ">" botton to change it to "FM 50" and finaly another long press on the audio to wrap up.. and it's done.

MichaelBlackDo you know where I can find the remote key combination to do the same with KDC-MP538U? (To transform it to the European system)
Thanks in advance!

I have a car stereo purchased from the US and I can’t pick up all radio stations in Europe/UK, what can I do?
If you have purchased a car stereo from the US you will find that it will not pick up many European radio stations. This is due to the fact that US radio frequency steps are different to here in Europe.
You may be able to set the tuner to European stations by following this procedure.
Press and hold down the SRC button to power down the unit completely.
While the unit is off press button 1 & 5 together, while momentarily pressing the SRC button.
If this does not work try the following proceedure;
Press and hold buttons 1 and 5 together, while momentarily pressing the reset button.
If this does not work then the unit is not designed to pick up European frequency steps.

SOURCE: Tuner on Odd Frequencies
Hello ashton_dunn, Stations in the US only transmit on the odd frequencies. And most of the receivers sold in the US will only tune odd frequencies. Hope this helps.

yes it is possible, but you need to goto a radio shack or electronic store and pick up a 12 volt power supply, then you will have the 12 volts needed so you dont blow it all up putting household current thru it...
